Summer is over and school is in the close horizon. I am back at Letourneau beginning IMPACT training (LSM International missions).

This summer was amazing!! The internship experience has changed my outlook on life and future. There are so many kids out there that need parents. I wish I could adopt them all. Not only parents but someone to tell them they are loved by God and are important. Many of the kids seem to have no future. Since I have been home I have kept in touch with many of the kids I have met through Frype (an online community like Facebook). I have even been able to talk to a few that live in orphanages but I did not meet in person but have got to know through some emails. These kids are so desperate for Love and attention. I could go on forever about how my life has been changed through my internship at Latvia through Buckner.

Another thing that has changed my out look on life was an awsome book called "Live Life On Purpose" by Claude Hickman!! It is the best missions book I have ever read!! It is challenging and 'in-your-face'. I reccomend it to anyone interested in missions and those who aren't. It was given to me with a warning: "don't read it unless you are ready to Go". It is a very true warning!!

Thank you for all of your support and prayers during this summer as I traveled the world. Please pray for the kids in Latvia and other orphanages around the world!!
