Final Count Down....

Tuesday, November 27, 2007

We have only 2 weeks of classes left of school and then finals week!! As these last few weeks approach, so does the massive load of papers, tests, and projects. With all of this I also am finishing up last minute details with the hungary trip.
I recieved an email last night from the missionary in Hungary. He gave me some more details and made me even more excited for this trip!!
Please pray that I will get all of my work done these next few weeks as the smester comes to an end. Please continue to pray for the Hungary mission team and the opportunities we will have.
I was challenged on Sunday to lower my expectations. Pray that I will be happy and blessed with the little things in life and the efforts of other people. Help me to lower my expecttions so that I won't miss the little things God puts before me!!

"No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it."
1 Corinthians 10:13

Thankfulness!!

Sunday, November 18, 2007

It has been quite a while since I have last updated on my life!! I have been soo busy andhave not had time to sit down and trport on how God is blessing me in so many ways.

In my last post I talked about the possiblitity of a Hungary mission trip. I am happy to report that we have 10 students excited to go to Hungary and share God's love with other student over there!! We are in the process now of raising money and preparing our hearts for what we will encounter. Last weee we had a studnet come and talk to us about Hungary, he has lived there for 9 years! It was very insiteful and helpful!! Please keep the team in your prayers as try to raise enough money and as we prepare mentally, physically, and most of all spiritually!!!

Besides the Hungary trip, I am in charge of planning 3 other international trips over Spring Break (Belize, Dominican Republic, Honduras). This is taking up alot of time and can get frustrating when people don't respond to emails or deadlines. Please pray for these trips and pray that I will be an effective planner and organizer. I cannot do it without God's help!! The hardest part is handling the money and gettin ther money!!

As for school, it has been going really good!! I am loving my major as kinesiology!! LEGS is beginning to get relly busy as deadlines are approaching and new work is comming onto the table. I am enjoyning it though! It is fun to practice somthing I hope to do as a career. My faculty advisor has allowed me to handle the research that will help me as a prosthetist in training. My next big project is to work with the engineers and create a spec sheet for the LEGS knee as well as learn to align the knee and produce an alighnment reccomendations sheet. I am excited about this!! I also will be working with a prosthetist to compare the LEGS knee with a comparative knee of capmarable mechanical characteristics.

Life is reaaly good compared to this time last year!! We celebrated Kolson's 1st birthday last weekend. It was good to see how far Jessica has come in a year as well as how much kolson has grown!! Roommate situation is MUCH better compared tio this time last year!! Please pray for my "friends" and how I should respond.
