Home Again...

Saturday, January 12, 2008

We are finally all back in Texas. Our last few nights of the coffee house event were very good. Many of the same students came back night after night. The very last night was probably the busiest night. We had a students representing about 10 different countries!!
This trip was not one that we came back with warm fuzzies knowing we had made a huge difference. This trip was a "1 step" trip. It was explained to our team that the conversations and friendships we make during this short period move the students 1 step closer to knowing God. This step might be the very first step, somewhere in between, or the very last step of becoming a Christian.
We had the opportunity to make some new friends and get to know many knew people. we handed out our contact cards to those that wanted them. On the back of each was our personal testimonies. All we can do is pray that the conversations we had and the cards we passed out might be used to move the students 1 step closer to God. Pray that they might be interested or curious in what we believe and ask us questions.

Our trip back home was very eventful. To make things short, we missed 2 flights which made us stay the night in Chicago, which caused us to stay most of the day in the Chicago airport on standby. We were in transit for about 40 hours.
We all made it back safely but still awaiting some luggage :)

Thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts while we were in Hungary. Your prayers were heard and greatly appreciated!!!
