This summer I have been asked to travel with the LEGS team to Kijabe, Kenya. I will be there for about 6 weeks at the CURE International Hospital (http://www.helpcurenow.org) helping assemble, fit, and rehab lower limb amputees. We hope to fit about 10 new patients with new prothesis as well as have check-up visits with previous patients that have a LEGS prosthesis.
I am curently working on validating several outcomes measures that we will be using to test the efficiency and effectivness of the LEGS knee. I will keep you updated as I continue to prepare and as time gets closer.
